Several people think that the process of growing apples requires just a few minutes and the job is done. Well, this statement is true but not entirely because the true process consumes a lot more than that and your efforts in order to show the optimum results. While planting an apple seed you need to remember a very important thing; that seed will turn into the fully grown tree that will give fruits. Now this time can go up to two and a half year or two at least. This is why you need to start early so you can enjoy some delicious apples soon.

The location where you plant the seeds will matter a lot. The climate needs to be temperate that is not too hot or cold for an apple tree to grow at its best. Areas having an average weather in the winters can also afford growing trees but the freezing point there should not be for more than a couple of months. So now you know where apples seeds can flourish well, we can move on to planting the apples and the real process.

Firstly, you need to buy the seeds and most of the people prefer growing apples through seeds. You can get some seeds from fresh apples, get them wrapped up in a moist or damp towel, and place them in the fridge. In around 6 weeks you will the seeds sprouting. Wait till you see this happening. Once this happens, the seeds need to be placed in small pots. You should have the small containers or pots ready with some potting soil in them; place the seeds in them now. Seeds will grow well if the soil is moist so you need to keep a check on this. Now, this pots need to be placed somewhere where it is sunny.

When you see that the plants are big enough and can grow outside; start transferring them to the location outside your house. When you place your apple trees outside, make sure they receive proper ventilation and get at least 12 hours of sunlight everyday otherwise they will not grow well. Lastly, just take proper care of the plants. You need to give them high amount of fertilizers and same goes for pruning as well. Make sure that they get these two things. Now all you need to go is wait and be patient.
