Great Article! One mistake that I have noticed beginner gardeners often make is over tilling the soil. It is important to remember that the soil should remain nice and crumbley and chunky...large pieces of dirt and small pieces of dirt...small chunks of clay, bits of compost, broken up detritus and nice black soil and maybe a little sand all work together to give plants the structure their roots need to find nutrients hidden in the soil...over worked soil is as bad as under worked soil.-Rochelle
