For newbie home gardeners, the suggested way is to use different pots for different plants so that each individual plant gets proper attention and care as you enjoy. Several things which the plant needs to grow up should be provided to foresee a proper growth. Special plant holders, trays etc can be arranged. You can start with a minimalist and simple strategy; have individual planted pots instead of the window-box systems and trays. This ensures your gardening goes cheap and safe also as you get good results in long term.

But with this specific type of arrangement of placing different varieties in a single place, might have some potential problems. Environmental conditions prevailing in the place might not be suitable for some of them due to which best results might not be achieved. But again there is no such problem that cannot be solved, so choose those plants that don’t have problems growing in the same place.
